For nine straight years, Kata Group Resorts Thailand, led by Managing Director Khun Pamuke Achariyachai, has been the host and a leading sponsor of Asia's biggest and most popular sailing event - The Phuket King's Cup Regatta. The 2007 regatta will be at the Kata Beach Resort for the 10th time, hosting the opening ceremony and moonlit parties on the beach.

If you need to get away from it all, but still want to be in the thick of things, then Kata Beach Resort is the place for you. Imagine; cocktail in hand, palms swaying in the breeze, lounging poolside and soaking up the sun - the perfect way to unwind.

Kata Beach Resort now presents its new 21 Grand Pool Access rooms, each with direct pool access. From your room or suite, breathe fresh air and surrender yourself to the natural beauty beckoning you - the soft white sand, green-blue crytal waters and lush tropical flora; even dining is an experience. For elegance and authentic Italian and Fusion fare try "Peppino" or the spacious "Atrium" Coffee Shop for international and Thai favourites. You can relax in the casual ambiance of the poolside snack bar, or go Surf and Turf at "Coco Palm" with the best view of Kata Bay. A new spa is being built and it will include individual luxurious treatment villas and offer a unique treatment menu.

Further north in Karon Bay, you will encounter the completely rejuvenated Karon Beach Resort and Spa, with 80 seaview rooms, where you can indulge in a natural luxury only on the beach resorts can offer, as you bath in the beachside pool, read a book or newspaper on the sundeck. Share a special evening as you take in the view of the Andaman Sea Over some of our Chef's very creative dishes.

Just a few steps from Karon Beach lays the Phuket Orchid Resort and Spa, with 525 comfortable rooms. Two very large swimming pools and a kids fun pool make this resort the ideal place for families. A shopping centre and several restaurants offering a variety of cuisines complement a very popular resort.
